United Way of Thunder Bay is bringing back our tastiest event of the fall, and this year it’s going to be even bigger, bolder, and better than last year!
Novemburger
Novemburger, proudly presented by TBay Modular Floors, is all about supporting local! It brings both new and returning customers to local eateries, all while raising funds for local needs, right here in our community!
Over the last 5 years, participating restaurants have collectively sold over 54,250 Novemburgers, raising nearly $150,000! We take so much pride in this achievement, as do all of our partners and participating restaurants! AND, we hope you, the members of our community and loyal supporters, feel proud as well. This event wouldn’t happen without YOU trying tasty Novemburgers throughout the past 5 years!
This year, we are excited to partner with Sleeping Giant Brewing Company – they’ve created a non-alcoholic root beer called Novembrewger that will be available at several participating restaurants and select local stores and grocery stores! 25 cents per can sold will be donated back to the United Way of Thunder Bay Novemburger campaign. So, order your Novembrugers – and pair it with a refreshing Novembrewger! In addition, we are ecstatic to expand Novemburger nationally by coaching 9 other United Ways across Canada to host their very first Novemburger events this month as well. Novemburger supports the United Way of Thunder Bay by providing funds to vital programs that address food insecurity in our community. Together, with our partners, we are working towards building a community united against poverty. Some of the programs that are supported include the Dew Drop Inn’s Senior Food Hamper Program, Our Kids Count’s Food Security Program, Evergreen A United Neighbourhood’s Feeding Program, and the Good Food Box Program.
